a quick chore

A typical autumn afternoon; leaves everywhere, full white clouds and a crispness in the air. I run out to lock the dogs in their kennel before we head to a family occassion. Typical they are no where to be seen.

opening weekend.

These photos were done in conjunction with my photography assignment on surrealism (my teacher’s kinda sick) and the opening weekend of duck shooting. Ideally i wanted it to be more gory with more blood and guts but Anita is a bit of a town girl these days. 

last breath of summer

You know that summer is coming to the end when hay is made, straw is cut and silage is packaged. We decided to take one last afternoon to stop and breathe the smell of summer before it disappeared for another year.

Now I live in Wellington I catch the train back to the farm. I always enjoy the train, it gives me time to admire the beautiful country side. The ride is most enjoyable except when someone forgets to pick me up...

... and i have to walk. But I find ways of entertaining myself.

a morning by the lake side
