Now I live in Wellington I catch the train back to the farm. I always enjoy the train, it gives me time to admire the beautiful country side. The ride is most enjoyable except when someone forgets to pick me up... ... and i have to walk. But I find ways of entertaining myself.
Being a farmer’s daughter isn’t the easiest life, but we make the most of it taking every opportunity by the horns. As young girls we look at the role that we are expected to play in the little movie called life; the expectation of being involved in the farming lifestyle and the surprisingly high social standard that comes with it.
